WIAW

yay it’s wednesday! half way through the week and thank you to Jennifer over at Peas & Crayons for this link party 🙂

first up… breakfast of course. yesterday was a bowl of banana whipped oats made with almond milk and topped with cinnamon, chia seeds, and peanut butter. obviously this will be one of the biggest things for me to give up when i start paleo next week!

this morning i had gina’s breakfast cookie dough cereal made with 1/3 cup oats, 1/2 scoop protein powder, 1 tbsp pb, and topped with 1 cup almond milk, frozen berries, and 1/2 cup fiber one cereal.

yep. breakfast will definitely suck when i start the whole30. (i’m not a savory breakfast eater at all..oh well, i’ll get creative!)

snack: unpictured greek yogurt mixed with cinnamon, honey, and raisins. (finally finished the yogurt! 1 out of the million other dairy things in my fridge….)
1/3 clif bar. i took a bite just because.

next up… lunch. repeat of broccoli slaw “pasta” i had the other day.
very paleo friendly minus the feta cheese i sprinkled on top! (finished that off to…yay almost there)

1 cup broccoli slaw sauteed in olive oil added to 1/2 cup tomato pasta sauce, diced tomatos, ground turkey, and onions

snack: green apple with pb protein sauce (1 tbsp pb, 1 tbsp protein powder, 1 tbsp almond milk, cinnamon)

dinner from tuesday: gina’s whole grain crepes with veggies stuffed inside.

dinner from wednesday: pita pizza topped with pasta sauce, spinach, mushrooms, jalapeno peppers, & cottage cheese

So this post was really late because my computer decided to crash last night. yeah not too excited about that one. have no idea what’s wrong with it so I have to take it in. blahhh

    Have you tried the 80 calorie Fiber One Honey squares? I used to top my oats with the old fiber one, but now I’ve been using the honey squares and they’re SO good!!!

    OMG pb protein sauce?!?! What a great idea!!! I am all about topping apples with cinnamon I do it all the time!
